The Role:
• In your role as Team Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of a team of Mobile Developers, playing a pivotal role in task definition and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality technical work.
•You will manage a small mobile development team, offering guidance and direction at the task level.
•Your responsibilities will encompass the design, development, and implementation of mobile applications for the insurance domain, specifically for Android platforms.
•Collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to align applications with business requirements and enhance the overall customer experience.
•Dedicate efforts to optimize applications for improved performance, usability, and security.
•Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve mobile development-related issues.
•Stay current with industry trends and best practices in the field of mobile development.
•Conduct regular code reviews for less experienced developers, providing feedback and recommendations.
•Maintain transparent communication on development progress with project management.
Who you are:
•Minimum of 5 years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin.
•A track record of at least 2 years in leadership roles, involving team management and technology oversight.
•Proven experience in mobile development, with a preference for familiarity with the insurance services sector.
•Strong proficiency in mobile development ecosystems, specifically in Kotlin.
•A solid grasp of mobile development technologies, encompassing mobile user interface design, mobile data storage, and mobile application architecture.
•Experience with the mobile application development lifecycle, including development, testing, and deployment.
•Effective communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work harmoniously with cross-functional teams.
•Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•Familiarity with React Native and/or Flutter will be considered an advantage.
